Who are we ?
Westbreen, a family run company, commenced business in 1972 selling welding and engineering equipment, repairing and manufacturing specialized industrial gas control equipment.
Approximately, 10 years ago a small pressing and clamp manufacturing business was purchased.
Today, still a family run Australian owned company, Westbreen is organized into three units :-
Manufacturing Department :
Responsible for the design, manufacture and supply of a wide range of clamps, wiring clips and custom made brackets servicing industries such as Automotive, Whitegoods, Electrical, Refrigeration, Hydraulic, Tube Pipe & Hose and Defence.
At Westbreen we recognized the particular problems associated with manufacturing in a country with a small population base and competing with imported product from large volume areas, and as a result our ability to produce our product in low or high volumes without high tooling costs and little cost variation to OEM's, highlights our continuing effort to streamline our methods of manufacturing to keep reducing the cost of our products to customers
Sales Department:
Westbreen stocks and supplies a large range of Welding Consumables and Equipment, Safety Equipment and Engineering Tools. We are a founding member of the By Your Welding Industrial Supplies Effectively - Bywise Group which enables us to access a wide range of products at the best possible prices. Some of our distributorships include - CIGWELD, FLEXOVIT, PFERD, W.I.A., ESAB, COOPER TOOLS, RAMSET ETC.
Repair Department:
Westbreen is an accredited CIGWELD repair agent for welding equipment and pressure gauges.
